HAINSCO LEPTOSKOP devices can be used to determine the thickness of non-magnetic layers (e.g. paint) on ferromagnetic substrate by means of the magnet-inductive method. The second option is to determine the thickness of non-conductive layers covering non-ferrous base materials utilizing the eddy-current method.
The models Pocket-LEPTOSKOP with dual probes, which combine both test methods in one (built-in) probe. Those innovative instruments will automatically detect the type of base material and will choose the proper measuring method. Changing the probe is not necessary!
Storage of measured data, statistical analysis and a serial interface are also available in corresponding models. Simple calibration is a a natural feature of all LEPTOSKOP instruments. Instruments with data logger cover the corresponding calibration in every batch so the operator avoids recalibration for various test conditions or specimens.
HAINSCO Coating thickness gauges meet highest quality control requirements. This applies also to accessories, applications consultation and service. Robust design, sound equipment, long-term durability, documented quality - in a word: to content our customers with our instruments - that is our objective.
