| HAINSCO LEPTOSKOP devices can be
used to determine the thickness of non-magnetic
layers (e.g. paint) on ferromagnetic substrate by
means of the magnet-inductive method. The second
option is to determine the thickness of non-conductive
layers covering non-ferrous base materials utilizing
the eddy-current method. |
| The models Pocket-LEPTOSKOP with
dual probes, which combine both test methods in
one (built-in) probe. Those innovative instruments
will automatically detect the type of base material
and will choose the proper measuring method. Changing
the probe is not necessary! |

| Storage of measured data, statistical
analysis and a serial interface are also available
in corresponding models. Simple calibration is a
a natural feature of all LEPTOSKOP instruments.
Instruments with data logger cover the corresponding
calibration in every batch so the operator avoids
recalibration for various test conditions or specimens. |
