| As the representative of
Magnetische Prufanlagen GmbH, HAINSCO is capable to provide
Eddy Current inspection of Reformer and riser tubes, Where
the principle of eddy current method is that a determined
flux leakage is induced into the material to be tested
with an EC-probe by generating a magnetic field which
penetrates the material causing eddy currents. Any defects
or irregularities in the grain structure distribute the
energy flow leading to indications on the oscilloscope.

| Advantages of this technique
are: no coupling is required, high inspection speed, Excellent
eddy current penetration into the tube wall up to 25mm,
No limitations due to the defect orientation, high repeatability
of the results, 120 Degrees on each fire face are tested,
No variation of results due to coarse grains, No voltage
inside the reformer (pneumatic power), No need to remove
the catalyst ( inspection from the outside of the tube,
Inspection is fully automated and require no scaffolding.
